Texas, Here We Come!
The time is counting down and only 8 days left as of the writing of this blog entry. We've connected all services to our new place in Rowlett and we're ready to go. The kids school records will be transferred and we'll be in warmer weather in no time at all. Once we're settled in, I will start to post some pictures of the area and once I've updated my license, I'll get some fishing in as well.

Moving to Texas: Update
We visited Texas from January 27th until the 31st and we not disappointed. The area which we decided to settle is surrounded by the lake and has plenty of parks and play areas for my children. Getting to and from work will be a challenge each day if I were to drive but I've decided to use the lightrail in order to get around since it's faster than driving and also will cost less that if I were to drive. This means less gas use from the car from having to sit in deadlock traffic each morning and evening. It also means more time with the family. Moving to Texas
The family and I are transferring to Texas as the company I work for has bought another hosting company. We will be in the Dallas area and have already signed a lease for the new house. Our official move date will be February 24th, and we're really excited! The above (the blog entry image) is an aerial view of Rowlett, TX which is our new home. We are near Shorewood Park and we're surrounded by water. This area will provide us some fishing and fun opportunities when we're not working. The rental property that we have leased includes it's own in-ground pool which will be utilized to the fullest on those hot days. I will post pictures at a later time as we will be visiting there to…
